True Colors Activity I have done this activity many times with student ranging from high school juniors through seniors in college. It has always scored very high on all of our evaluations (4 or a 5 out of 5). We typically start the activity by handing out each of the colors to each of the students and have them quietly read the descriptions.

True Colors is a series of learning sessions with fun communication and team building activities mixed in. Teens have opportunities to get up and be physical both inside and outside the seminar rooms. They have adult-supervised free time each of the five evenings they are at True Colors, and great conversations often develop then.

True Colors. True Colors is a non-profit organization that works with other social service agencies, schools, organizations, and within communities to ensure that the needs of sexual and gender minority youth are both recognized and competently met.

Connecticut is home to many Gay Straight Alliances (GSAs). These alliances offer a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people and their allies to meet and discuss sexual orientation and gender issues, gather information, and find strength and support among their peers.
